While our long-term goal is to create employment opportunities within our organisation, we currently operate on a voluntary basis. As our activities expand, we offer opportunities to join our permanent team across multiple departments. While we are not yet able to offer paid positions, we are committed to growing together and building a strong foundation for future opportunities.
We look for a wide range of skills and work remotely, so there are high chances you can make a real difference with us. We regularly update this page with available roles, so so make sure you check back often!

We also offer the chance for those passionate about our mission to join our in-field volunteer programme.
We partner with Volunturismo, an initiative launched in 2019 that combines voluntary work with sustainable tourism on São Vicente island. In collaboration with local and international NGOs, Volunturismo creates a unique blend of meaningful volunteer experiences and responsible tourism, with a strong focus on respecting local identities and cultures.
Through their programmes, you can actively contribute to our on-the-ground activities while fostering personal connections and supporting community resilience.

We seek volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Although we particularly welcome individuals with medical expertise, we are open to volunteers from all fields who share our values and are committed to getting involved in our awareness-raising campaigns.

“Participarmos como voluntárias na sensibilização do cancro da mama foi uma experiência incrivelmente gratificante e transformadora. Esta causa envolveu-nos de uma forma significativa e mostrou-nos a importância da consciencialização e da deteção precoce através do auto-exame.
Tivemos oportunidade de participar em várias atividades de sensibilização junto a escolas, cadeia e porta a porta, constatando o envolvimento das pessoas locais, fazendo perguntas e disponíveis para agendarem exames preventivos.
Cada momento com esta comunidade foi uma oportunidade de aprender, crescer e contribuir de alguma forma para fazer a diferença. Estamos profundamente gratas pela oportunidade de ter contribuindo para esta causa tão significativa.”

"A Cuida d'Bo é um projeto bastante importante e completo: passar/relembrar informação, deixar contato de possível ajuda e socialização!
Sempre me identifiquei com este tipo de projeto, mesmo não sendo a minha área pois aprendo também e faço das coisas que mais gosto: conversar com outras pessoas e conhecer novas realidades.
Procurar por possível desinformação, ajudar no auto rastreio, mostrar disponibilidade para ouvir casos e histórias de vida é um dos objetivos deste projeto. E penso que o objetivo é conseguido por cada voluntário!
